April 19
No matter how hard we look for it, we simply aren’t going to find the documents that give us every detail and every step for leadership or for overcoming or even just fulfilling the assignment we have been given. But we do have the promises of God and of his Son. We are not alone, and he will be with us to supply every need along the way.

We are called to be a people of love and grace with each other. We withstand evil, but we aren’t called to attack anyone.

I don’t know what you will hear today that might grab your attention. I don’t know what we will see today that makes us curious. But I know that in the middle of the madness and chaos of our world, Jesus is still at work. The Holy Spirit is still moving, and if you listen, he will speak to you today in language that is clear and direct.

Self-deception is powerful, and the author of deception is determined to spread his lies. His plan is to discourage us and to keep us from experiencing the victory God has planned since the beginning of time. And that victory includes helping you and me.
