The book of Habakkuk shows us that God welcomes honest conversations filled with grief, frustration, and questions. Even when we struggle to understand His plans, God remains just, merciful, and faithful.

When we come to understand that before we were born God loved us and had a plan for us, we are more likely to see his plan being revealed in our work, in our family, and in all of our relationships.

A simple “How’s it going?” can become a divine opportunity to reflect God’s love. Though we often define ourselves by what we do, Scripture reminds us our true identity is rooted in being known and formed by God even before birth.

Reading Psalm 28 makes me wonder if the psalmist thought that God has a hearing problem. He has been around longer than any of us, so does our Father in heaven have to lean in to hear us when we pray?
