Over two decades of visiting our nation’s capital have reminded me how meaningful it is to advocate for those in need, yet Scripture reminds us that our deepest allegiance belongs to Christ alone.

Through Isaiah’s prophecy and Jesus’ words in John, we are reminded of the coming new heavens and new earth, where sorrow and suffering will be no more, and joy will last forever.
