The Israelites gave from what God had already provided, reminding us that everything we offer back to Him is first a gift from His hand.

Rather than treating the Ten Commandments as a checklist, we are called to see the first commandment as a daily posture of the heart.

Remembering the “other side” of our hardships strengthens our faith and invites others to see the faithfulness of a God who still fights for His people.
