He must increase, and we must decrease—understanding our Jesus mission
We must remember we point or prepare the way for others to see Christ. And we likewise must remember we are not asked to do the work that only Christ came to do.

‘He must increase.’ Give it time. ‘I must decrease.’ Same for us
When John the Baptist said, “He must increase and I must decrease,” he demonstrated that Jesus was the way, the truth, and the life and that the disciples (and everyone else!) needed to spend time with Jesus.
Sooner or later, most will ask, ‘How do I know God is with me?’
When you thought you had the answer but find yourself in a tough situation, it is normal to want to verify your answer. Once your answer has been verified, it’s time to embrace it and trust the outcome. But how do we know it is a divine answer and not just something we made up in our heads?
