By trusting God’s small beginnings, we’re called to be patient with others and ourselves, allowing room for slow, steady transformation as God builds his kingdom through seemingly ordinary acts of faith.

Jesus calls us to more than good stewardship—he invites us to risky, bold faith that reflects his kingdom values. May we follow him fully and trust him deeply.

Jesus’ audience, familiar with the Shema, would have known the call to love God with all their heart, soul, and might. But Jesus expanded this understanding, teaching that our love for God must be reflected in how we treat others, calling us to embody God’s kingdom through compassion and forgiveness.

Jesus talked about money and vineyards, but his point was larger than finances and grape-growing.

Jesus used the Scriptures to answer the question. He also managed to answer in a way that gave two answers wrapped in one.
