When we pause, pray, and listen, God strengthens us and guides us toward better paths than we could choose on our own.

As you step into a new year, I hope this story reassures you that even when life unravels your carefully made plans, God is still at work. He is the Master Weaver, able to turn every mistake, loss, and surprise into something purposeful and beautiful.

Ultimately, Psalm 1 explains two different ways to be human. Two paths that we can take. The first path is one that reflects the life of God. The alternate path is the path of the wicked.

Since Jesus has handled our biggest problem of all, shouldn’t we trust his Father with the rest of them?
