We live in a world obsessed with fame, but let me tell you—being known doesn’t mean being good. Solomon’s wisdom calls us to pursue a name marked by integrity, not popularity. That kind of name is forged by listening to God’s truth and applying it daily.

Born from East Tennessee’s rugged hills and raised with little, I reflect on my father’s story and God’s guidance. Even in brokenness, the Lord is faithful to lead, provide, and shape our future with His wisdom.

Like Dug from Up, we’re easily pulled off course. Solomon’s call to “be attentive” in Proverbs 4 reminds us that staying focused on God’s wisdom is a daily battle—and one worth fighting.

Like Solomon, we are all susceptible to temptation, which is why seeking God's wisdom and remaining grounded in Christ is essential.

Solomon prayed for wisdom, and God gave it to him. Unfortunately, however, he eventually failed to use it in every area of his life.
