Life’s storms—whether weather-related or personal—reveal where we place our trust. The Lord alone is our true safe place, stronger than any worldly security.

After hearing of John the Baptist’s death, Jesus withdrew to pray, showing us the importance of turning to God in grief and relying on His presence to find strength for the next step.

The disciples' struggle in the storm is a reminder that, even when we face overwhelming challenges, Jesus is with us and capable of bringing peace in the midst of turmoil.

When we trust Jesus fully, he will not only bring us through each storm, but he will also use us to show the world that He is fully alive and active as he uses us to reveal Christ to others through our faithfulness.

Two storms, the same reaction. And we can identify with the fear the disciples felt.
