The ultimate act of Jesus’ surrender is seen in his death on the cross. But he had been anticipating that moment since long before.

We remember Esther’s big “for-such-a-time-as-this” moment. But we need to think about all the less noted moments before that, moments that made this one possible.

When we choose to accept the definition of greatness that Jesus gave his disciples, then our path of servant leadership will lead to many being astonished at the majesty of God at work around us.
