He is NOT Here; He Has Risen!
As we reflect on these powerful truths today, may we pause to remember the real reason we celebrate Easter—not just bunnies and baskets, but an empty tomb and a risen Savior. Jesus conquered death, and in doing so, He gave us freedom, forgiveness, and eternal hope.
Let this be a day where we not only rejoice but also rest in the promise that we are forgiven, we are free, and we are deeply loved. The resurrection isn’t just a moment in history—it’s the foundation of our faith and the reason we can face each day with hope.
Matthew 28:5–6:
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”
Mark 16:4–6:
But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
Luke 24:6–7:
“He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’”
He is risen. He is risen indeed!
